While the winners popped champagne, Osmosis, Gitcoin and Blur had a day to forget — and Blur touched its lowest price ever.
Osmosis (OSMO) dropped -19.59% to $0.0416. The token of the Cosmos-based DEX, once an ATH of $11.25, now trades at a level that would make even the most patient HODLer sweat. Market cap fell to $31.1 million on $23.9 million of volume.
Gitcoin (GTC) follows at -19.27% to $0.226. Once the darling of the “public goods” narrative, it now fights for every dollar of volume ($62.2 million). With an ATH of $22.37, GTC has shed over 99% of its glory — the textbook definition of buying the top. Congratulations.
The most dramatic case is Blur (BLUR): -13.79% and a fresh all-time low of $0.0115. The NFT marketplace that was a rockstar with packed arenas in 2021 now plays to empty halls. Blur has lost 99.8% from its $5.02 ATH.
Joining the losers’ lounge: Wormhole (W) at -10.58% ($0.01696), GoPlus Security (GPS) -16.19%, KGeN -15.23% and DAPPOS -11.77%. Each of them paid the price of rotation today.
Context: total market cap is $2.819 trillion (-1.31%), Bitcoin $83,167 (+2.15%), Ethereum $2,498.86 (+2.67%). While the majors grind higher, part of the alt market bleeds — a classic rotation where capital flees fringe projects for safer harbors. Total volume is $87.6 billion; Bitcoin dominance is 59.25%.
Today’s lesson: the market doesn’t forgive those left without a story, a community or volume. Osmosis and Gitcoin know that better than anyone.
