Quant Sinks 14.8% as SOON and ALEO Freefall

Quant sank 14.78% in 24 hours to take the day’s unwanted title, while SOON and ALEO fell 14.36% and 12.95% respectively. The trio is large enough to notice and loud enough to argue about until sunrise.

Quant (QNT), one of the oldest and most serious blockchain interoperability projects, shed 14.78% to $244.52. A $3.556 billion market cap and $454.3 million of volume point to mass selling rather than a spreadsheet typo. A $242.22-to-$305.07 range in a single day looks like a parachute opened far too low — a landing gear arriving after the ground did. The $427.42 all-time high now feels like a mountain swallowed entirely by fog.

SOON slipped 14.36% to $0.4211. With a $143.1 million market cap and $96.9 million of volume, the token carries a boastful name that rang slightly ironic today. Compared with its $4.30 all-time high and $0.1009 all-time low, this is plainly a project that already had its fifteen minutes and is now paying the bill.

ALEO dropped 12.95% to $0.02823. The layer-one privacy project, with a $41.2 million market cap and a thin $4.45 million of volume, found itself without a buyer base. When price falls below $0.03 while a $6.72 all-time high glitters in the rear-view mirror, market psychology works against anyone who bought the top of the story.

The wider losers’ circle included NEAR Protocol down 9.96% to $4.80, Ethena weaker by 8.10% to $0.2432, and Zcash off 7.28% to $1,333.09. NEAR’s $1.361 billion of volume was only marginally below twice the daily turnover of many large caps, while Zcash — fresh off a bright run — reminded everyone that even the shiniest stars do not shine every single day.

For anyone used to dizzying climbs, the session was a cold shower. No hero’s comeback story here — just a chart sliding lower and a cluster of tokens learning that gravity, unlike market optimism, needs no announcement.

The pattern was consistent across the board: rallies that once fed on hype ran out of fuel, and profit-taking arrived faster than any narrative could justify. Momentum cuts both ways, and today the blade faced downward.
