PoP Planet Crashes 38.6%: Daily Losers in a Sea of Red

While red swept across the entire market, PoP Planet suffered a true disaster with a 38.6 percent drop, taking the top spot on the day’s losers list.

The token that traded at $0.73 a few months ago now sells for $0.03 — a 95 percent decline from its record, and yesterday’s collapse from $0.0498 to $0.0292 looked like a meteorite hitting the planet. The name is ironically fitting: PoP Planet really did explode, just not the way investors had hoped.

Cysic (CYS) fared no better: -27.5 percent, sliding from $0.855 to $0.577, with a market cap of $93 million. When a project with this kind of volume and a hardware cryptography story loses a quarter of its value in a single day, it no longer looks like a correction — it looks like a maturity test.

Huma Finance (HUMA) fell 21.4 percent to $0.021, Fogo (FOGO) dropped 20.5 percent, and Tutorial (TUT) lost 20.4 percent with a volume of $48 million — a large amount of money leaving the ship while the orchestra played on. Bubblemaps (BMT) closed the day at -19.1 percent, but with an impressive $114 million in volume, meaning someone was selling very actively, and someone else was buying even more actively.

The saddest story of the day belongs to Moonriver (MOVR). The former giant that touched $494 in the bull run now trades at $0.79 — a drop of more than 99 percent from its record — and yesterday it lost another 19 percent. If Bitcoin is a Ferrari by comparison, MOVR is now a used bicycle with two wheels, and it’s on sale.

The broader context offers no comfort: Bitcoin fell 3 percent to $77,816, Ethereum 2.8 percent to $2,442, Solana 4.6 percent to $104, and XRP 4.8 percent to $1.38. When even the biggest players are bleeding, smaller tokens can’t expect mercy — the market doesn’t know the phrase “it’s just a little blood.”

Crypto historians know that days like this often separate projects with foundations from those that lived on vapor. Some of yesterday’s losers could recover as fast as they fell; others will be remembered as footnotes in history, like cities that vanished from the map after an eruption.

One thing is certain: in crypto, gravity always wins — but sometimes only after enjoying the drama. Yesterday’s declines were exactly that: a spectacle to remember, even though nobody paid for a ticket.
