The comparison with December 2024 is especially painful, when Tsuki traded at $0.025 — today’s price represents a drop of nearly 90% from that record. Stonks: the joke that stopped being funny
Stonks is a name born from an internet meme about bad financial decisions, but the last three days have turned it into a literal warning. On Sunday, the coin stood at a record $0.019; yesterday it set a fresh low at $0.00174. Today Stonks tumbles another 62.4% to $0.00215, and its market cap has fallen to $2.15 million. The irony is perfect: a token designed to mock bad decisions has become the best example of one. In crypto, no piece of dark humor lasts forever — especially when someone with a bigger bag and an earlier exit shows up.
Anoma (XAN): an anomaly on the wrong side
The biggest “serious” casualty of the day comes from the ranks of projects that once commanded real attention in crypto circles. Anoma fell 42.1% to $0.0117 on a daily volume of $24.6 million — a number that suggests someone was exiting in grand style and without mercy. From its record of $0.273 in September last year, XAN is now down 95.7%. A market cap of $29.4 million and a circulating supply of 2.5 billion tokens (out of 10 billion total) mean the road back is long and steep.
AMC: bad reviews after the premiere
AMC (A Meme Coin) borrows its name from the world of cinema, so the movie metaphor writes itself. The opening weekend was spectacular — on Friday the coin touched $0.15 — but the first working week brought terrible reviews: today AMC is losing 25.4% and trades at $0.088, with a market cap of $87.8 million and a volume of $30.6 million. In Hollywood, that scenario would mean pulling the film from distribution; in crypto, it means one more lesson about what happens when price detaches from story.
MarsCoin: volume without mercy
MarsCoin proves that even heavy trading does not guarantee a good day. Despite a volume of $103 million — one of the largest among today’s losers — the coin fell 16.7% to $0.13. MarsCoin traded at a record $0.263 last Saturday, meaning it has now been cut in half, while still holding a solid gain from its August low of $0.023. A decline on high volume usually says one thing: someone used the liquidity to exit, not to enter.
When meme coins with names borrowed from internet jokes lose two-thirds of their value in a single day, and freshly pumped “premieres” get catastrophic reviews, the market repeats an old lesson: what rises without discipline falls without discipline. The rotation of capital toward old L1 chains and AI tokens, visible at the top of the board, only confirms that taste changes — and in crypto, taste changes fast and without mercy.
