Bitway Sheds 27.5%, Irys Loses 26% as Three Tokens Fall Through the Floor

Bitway (BTW) dropped 27.46% to $1.20 and Irys fell 26.02% to $0.0284 — the two heaviest losses of a session in which Bitcoin barely moved. Bitway’s worst moment came at $0.898, almost 47% below its daily high of $1.69, before price climbed back to the level where the morning started.

Bitcoin lost 0.05% over 24 hours and held $80,018, still 36.5% below the $126,080 record. Ethereum slipped 0.3% to $2,320. For most of the market this was a dull session; for three tokens it was a stress test of how much an order book can absorb. All three returned the same answer: less than assumed.

Bitway (BTW): -27.5% on volume that does not match the market cap

What is Bitway? BTW is the native utility and governance token of the Bitway ecosystem, which spans several connected products: yield-bearing savings, payments and financing. The token carries network security, voting and economic incentives across that trio, so its price measures two things at once — confidence in revenue and confidence in governance. The combination sounds serious, but seriousness is only one variable among many on an open market.

Why is it down? A $1.82 billion market cap and rank 51 place Bitway among the fifty largest names on the board, yet daily volume reached only $29.0 million — 1.6% of capitalisation. Circulating supply is 1.51 billion of 10 billion tokens, roughly 15% of total supply. A large name, thin liquidity and a small float produce exactly what happened: a handful of larger sells moved price as if this were a micro-cap, and the 27.5% decline was recorded in a book too narrow for that much paper. The token sits 56.4% below its $2.77 record, but still more than a hundred times above its all-time low of $0.00912.

Financial data (Bitway): price $1.20 · 24h -27.46% · market cap $1.82B · 24h volume $29.0M · circulating 1.51B of 10B (15.1%) · ATH $2.77 (-56.4%) · ATL $0.00912 · rank 51.

Irys (IRYS): -26% and turnover twice the value of the project

What is Irys? Irys is a Layer 1 datachain that unifies onchain data storage and smart contract execution into a single network. Conventional smart contract chains handle financial transactions well but lack native primitives for working with data at scale; conventional datachains store well but cannot execute. Irys claims both through IrysVM, its own EVM execution layer, with flexible storage models ranging from term to permanent. The project grew out of the Bundlr network, which means it also carries the weight of inherited expectations.

Why is it down? Volume of $116.2 million against a $56.8 million market cap means twice the project’s value changed hands in a single day. That is not a selloff triggered by bad news; it is a selloff driven by exits, and when that much paper moves in one session, price falls as long as sellers remain. The daily range of $0.0405 to $0.0259 shows a controlled slide with no panic spike, which is often worse than panic — panic at least finds a floor. The token trades 90.4% below its $0.2959 record, and with 2 billion of 10 billion tokens circulating, 80% of supply remains off-market and hangs over price like an announced tax.

Financial data (Irys): price $0.0284 · 24h -26.02% · market cap $56.8M · 24h volume $116.2M · circulating 2B of 10B (20%) · ATH $0.2959 (-90.4%) · ATL $0.01172 · rank 407.

Capricorn (APR): -18.9% and the arithmetic of the post-IDO discount

What is Capricorn? The project is building an order flow coordination layer for high-performance blockchains. The architecture pairs an engine that classifies trades in real time with flow-aware routing that sends benign orders into efficient liquidity pools while isolating riskier flow onto more resilient paths. MEV capture comes with redistribution back to stakers and validators — an attempt to turn extraction into community revenue rather than a private tax. Ecosystem-wise the project is tied to Monad and BNB Chain, with capital from the Binance Wallet IDO circuit.

Why is it down? A $12.9 million market cap, $10.0 million of volume and 402 million of a billion tokens circulating describe the classic fresh-token profile: small float, high turnover relative to value, and a price still searching for a historical anchor. The token is 95.7% below its $0.7396 record, and a slide of that depth so soon after the first serious trading is no longer a correction but a verdict. Tokens with an IDO background usually pass through three stages: euphoria, patience and arithmetic. Arithmetic always wins, because 60% of supply waiting to unlock does not disappear just because nobody mentions it.

Financial data (Capricorn): price $0.0320 · 24h -18.86% · market cap $12.9M · 24h volume $10.0M · circulating 402.1M of 1B (40.2%) · ATH $0.7396 (-95.7%) · ATL $0.02263 · rank 1063.

The rest of the board

AVA, the token of the Travala travel platform, lost 14.92% to $0.342, now 94.7% below its $6.45 record. Threshold Network (T) slid 14.69% to $0.00479 at a 97.9% discount to its record — the tBTC bridge keeps working, but the token does not get paid for it. Orderly (ORDER) closed at -13.88% on $0.0397. None of those moves was drama; each was a continuation of the same process in which the market reduces the number of projects it follows.

Market context

The session displayed two different kinds of risk. Bitway is large by capitalisation and fragile by liquidity, Irys is small by capitalisation and overwhelmed by turnover, and Capricorn is new with no buyer base yet to defend levels. The common denominator is float: in all three cases a minority of supply holds the entire price while the majority waits. As long as that holds, every step out of line moves the whole building.
