The worst-case scenario for anyone who bought the top: the ticket to orbit was purchased exactly at liftoff, pointed downward.
Beside it stands musebook (MUSEBOOK) with a 52.3% fall to $0.00010188. Its history is even fresher and even more brutal: the all-time high of $0.00042541 was recorded on September 22, and the all-time low of $0.0000407 only a day earlier, on September 21. A token that prints both its highest and lowest point within three days behaves like a ship that is somehow in the shallows and on the open sea at once. A $10.39 million market cap and $11.37 million in turnover merely confirm that this is feverish trading without a solid foundation.
Third in the company of martyrs is Saga (SAGA), which sank 50.4% to $0.03558064. This project, with 416.5 million tokens in circulation and a total supply of 1.10 billion, has become a symbol of a prolonged decline: the all-time high of $7.60 was reached in April 2024, and today’s price stands 99.5% below that level. A fifty-percent drop in a single day, after two and a half years of sliding, feels like someone decided to finish off an already exhausted marathon runner just before the finish line.
Below them, the darkness continues. Neon (NEON) shed 46.7% and fell to $0.04900042, with a market cap of $21.11 million. ALEO weakened 33.6% to $0.02799425, while Magic Hash (MHA) and Lisk (LSK) joined with declines of 23.6% and 16.8% respectively. Saga is particularly troubling: its $197.2 million daily turnover is the largest among the losers — such volume alongside a fifty-percent drop means many were selling in panic.
What connects the astronauts, the music boxes and the sagas is the same story: projects that were recently on top now rolling downhill without brakes. When a market cap of $4 to $15 million collides with double-digit daily turnover, the game is almost purely speculation. The winners of the day celebrate, but the losers of the day remind everyone that in crypto the elevator goes both up and down — often at the same speed.
