Akedo lost 27.29% in 24 hours and slid to $0.02379116, closing essentially at the bottom of its range, while two other tokens with serious capitalization sank alongside it. On a day when 148 of the 250 most liquid cryptocurrencies finished green, this trio played a match in which every goal was an own goal.
Akedo: from $0.0374 to $0.0243 with nothing underneath
Akedo’s daily range ran from $0.03744938 to $0.02433984, and the close at $0.02379116 means sellers outgunned buyers in every part of the session. Market cap fell to $542.4 million on $21.96 million of volume — about 4% of capitalization, relatively calm for a token ranked inside the top hundred. That is the uncomfortable detail: there was no panic selling, only an absence of buyers. When the order book empties, price does not fall because someone is dumping aggressively, it falls because nobody stands in the way.
Against an all-time high of $0.146656 the token sits 83.78% lower, while it is still up 13,567% from a floor of $0.00017407. Those two numbers together describe the entire life arc of an altcoin: a spectacular ascent, a long slide, and repeated attempts to find a level where the story makes sense again. A circulating supply of 22.8 billion out of 100 billion total means nearly 77 billion tokens will one day be looking for a buyer. That is a truck arriving at the market every month while the queue of customers keeps shrinking.
Bedrock: minus 24.80% and the worst possible finish
Bedrock dropped 24.80% to $0.486045, ranging between $0.661612 and $0.476389. Closing at $0.4860, barely 2% above the session low, says the buyers had already left the locker room. A $144.6 million cap on $14.74 million of volume makes the decline technically orderly but market-painful: there is enough liquidity to exit, not enough to hold a bid.
Bedrock is 63.99% below its $1.35 record, while still up 1,139% from a low of $0.03920767. A project building liquid staking infrastructure found itself in a position where its own liquidity became the problem. Circulation is 296.7 million of a one billion supply — less than a third is trading — and a $487.5 million FDV sits three and a half times above the market cap. When the market starts pricing future supply, that ratio is a burden, not an advantage.
Bitway: biggest of the losers, smallest in percentage
The most interesting case is Bitway. The token shed 19.09% to $1.65, yet it remains the 41st largest cryptocurrency with a $2.49 billion market cap. A range of $2.15 down to $1.36 means 37% separated the session’s top and bottom — intraday volatility most large caps do not see in a week.
Bitway is 40.33% below its $2.77 all-time high and up nearly 18,000% from a low of $0.00911805. Circulation is 1.51 billion of 10 billion tokens, and the $16.5 billion FDV runs almost seven times the market cap. When a token with that ratio loses 19% on a day the market rises, the tape is saying one thing: future supply is already priced in. Daily turnover of $28.12 million against a $2.49 billion cap is just 1.1% — near silence for a top-fifty name.
The rest of the red list
Behind the top three sit Quack AI at -10.50% to $0.111302, Aerodrome Finance at -7.85% to $0.8151, Impossible Cloud Network at -7.78%, Basic Attention Token at -6.95%, AIOZ Network at -5.64%, Amp at -5.31%, Rain at -4.98% and Celestia at -4.17% on $97.6 million of volume.
The overall picture is not a disaster. Bitcoin added 1.34% to $84,086 and Ethereum 0.96% to $2,470.86, and 148 of 250 names closed higher. Those three declines therefore read as selective rather than systemic. The market is running on two tracks — one celebrating memecoins and AI infrastructure, the other liquidating names that ran out of a fresh story. When capital rotates, somebody is always left without a chair when the music stops.
Historically, single-day drops above 19% often produce a brief bounce within 48 to 72 hours, but rarely recover the full loss without a new catalyst. For Akedo, Bedrock and Bitway the question is not whether the bottom is near, but whether there is any reason for price to return at all. Without a product, a partnership or fresh money, the chart is just a drawing pointed downward.
