Akedo (AKE) lost 40.4% of its value in 24 hours and fell to $0.005179, the worst result among the 250 most-traded tokens, while NEAR Protocol slid 10% to $3.87 and dragged the entire smart-contract sector lower. Beam shed nearly a fifth of its value, and Kinetiq dropped from an all-time high in four days.
A day like this has no heroes, only statistics. While Bitcoin was losing two percent, a genuine fissure opened in the lower half of the leaderboard: volume stayed high, buyers never arrived, and every sell order moved through the book like footsteps in an empty corridor. The result was a string of double-digit losses on names that looked like safe bets a month ago.
Akedo: 40% in a Single Day
Akedo started at $0.008926, fell to $0.005179 and lost 40.38% of its value. Turnover of $37.7 million against a market cap of $118 million means a third of the project’s value passed through the market in one session — that is not a correction, that is an evacuation. Circulation stands at 22.8 billion tokens out of 100 billion total, which makes clear this is a name whose supply structure leaves it exposed to any wave of panic.
The story gets harsher against the calendar. Akedo reached $0.1467 on September 20, 2026. The current price is 96.5% lower — a journey from hero to footnote in six weeks, like an athlete who breaks a record and then gets relegated the following season. The all-time low of $0.000174 was printed on July 10, which means that even after today’s bleeding the price is thirty times that floor. That is the only consolation the chart offers: the bottom is far away, but not as far as it looks.
Beam: A Fifth of Its Value Evaporated
Beam fell 19.94% to $0.004503 on $58.2 million in turnover — twice Akedo’s — which means the selling was organised and deep rather than the product of a few panicked orders. A $226.6 million market cap keeps it at rank 151, but the ratio of 50.3 billion circulating to 57.5 billion maximum tokens says dilution is nearly complete and there is no remaining maneuvering room for the story to use as an excuse.
The all-time high of $0.04416 from March 2024 now sits 89.8% out of reach. In the language of film franchises, Beam is the sequel that got made only because the first instalment performed — and then the audience stayed home. The low of $0.001214 from June 2026 shows how far down the aircraft has already been; today’s level is three and a half times that, but the trend does not look like a reversal is loading.
Kinetiq: From Record to Discount in Four Days
Kinetiq lost 16.34% and fell to $0.4422 on turnover of just $6.3 million. The most interesting detail is the date of its all-time high: $0.5962, printed on October 30 — four days ago. The token has therefore fallen 25.8% from a record in less than a week, a textbook deflation pattern after a launch or a major event. A $141.3 million market cap and 319.6 million circulating tokens out of a one billion maximum leave plenty of room for further pressure.
Kinetiq was the parachutist who pulled the cord too low — technically correct, practically too late.
NEAR: Ten Percent, Five Billion in Market Cap
NEAR Protocol fell 10.01% to $3.87 on $613 million in turnover and a $5.07 billion market cap. This is the heaviest part of the day’s picture, because NEAR is not a micro-cap experiment but the 21st name on the leaderboard and one of the load-bearing pillars of the fast, cheap chain narrative. A daily range of $4.34 to $3.85 shows selling that was steady from open to close, with no attempt at defence.
The all-time high of $20.44 from January 2022 now sits 81.1% out of reach, and today’s price is below most of last year’s trading range. When one of the best-funded chains loses a tenth of its value on a day Bitcoin loses two percent, the market is not punishing the project — it is punishing the entire category.
The Rest of the Bleeding
Nothing calmer is happening behind the headline names: SOON lost 13.30% to $0.2389, Pons 13.89% to $0.2059, STONK 12.50% to $0.1066 and Shuffle 10.39% to $0.3599. Taken together, six of the ten biggest losers of the day carry a market cap below $200 million, confirming an old rule: when liquidity dries up, the smallest boats disappear first.
Meanwhile Bitcoin fell to $76,704, Ethereum to $2,249.99 and Solana to $91.87 — all lower, but nowhere near panic. That is the difference between a fissure and an earthquake: a fissure gets patched, an earthquake redraws the map. Today was a fissure, but with an edge deep enough to cost a few names their fingers.
