Daily Report: Bitcoin Holds $77,857 as Dominance Climbs to 59.9% and Lisk Gives Back Yesterday’s Gain

Bitcoin closed the Sunday morning session at $77,857, up 0.41% over 24 hours, while total market capitalisation slipped to $2.61 trillion and Bitcoin dominance climbed to 59.9% — the highest reading of the week.

Ether added 0.96% to $2,268, overall 24-hour turnover reached $75.4 billion, and the number of active cryptocurrencies rose to 22,671. It reads like a quiet weekend — and it is, if only the top of the board is checked. Underneath, something closer to the quiet scene before a bar fight is playing out: the median change across the 500 largest coins is 0.04%, the statistical equivalent of a man standing in a lift pretending to press a button for a different floor.

Macro: the index stands still while the legs move

Breadth actually looks better than the headline: 67 of the top 100 coins finished green, and the average move inside the top 100 sits at 0.58%. Bitcoin dominance at 59.9% explains the rest of the equation — capital is consolidating into the largest asset while the middle layer quietly evaporates. Stablecoins hold a 10.1% share of total capitalisation, still a thick cushion for a market sitting far below its highs.

The context, without varnish: Bitcoin trades 38.2% below its all-time high of $126,080, Ether 54.1% below $4,946, Solana 67.5% below $293.31 and Dogecoin a full 89.6% below its peak. Cardano sits 93.7% under its ATH, Avalanche 93.9%. This is not a market in euphoria; it is a market that has learned to live in exile and is now calculating how long the sentence runs.

Lisk: the hero who forgot to bring his form

Yesterday’s biggest gainer handed almost everything back. Lisk fell 19.04% to $0.2183 on $123.9 million of turnover — two and a half times its $48.1 million market cap. That ratio means exactly one thing: short-term capital walked in, had a good time and left, and the price stayed behind holding the jacket. The weekly ledger is still positive at +38.36%, but an ATH of $34.92 and a 99.4% drawdown from that level tell the longer story — this is a coin whose red-carpet premiere happened years ago.

Infinity Ground: 624% in a week and still climbing

While most of the market sleeps, Infinity Ground (AIN) keeps extending: +26.08% in 24 hours to $0.2788 and a startling +623.96% across seven days. Market cap of $51.6 million against $20.3 million of turnover, with the price just 3.7% below its all-time high of $0.2896. In sporting terms this is the lucky loser from qualifying who somehow reached the final — the market has not yet decided whether it is talent or a temporary glitch, but the crowd is already on its feet.

Lighter shines, and not only by name

Lighter (LIT) rose 19.51% to $3.26 on an $814.8 million market cap and $117.3 million of turnover. It is the 82nd largest asset, still 58.5% below its $7.86 ATH — a rally from a low base rather than a breakout to new highs. Uniswap added 4.01%, Avalanche 3.98%, Aave 2.93% and Pump.fun 2.9%. DeFi and infrastructure collected the morning’s sympathy vote, usually a sign that the market wants a story with cash flow attached rather than a meme with a logo.

Losers: three floors down, no lift

UnifAI Network (UAI) shed 28.51% to $0.2053 on a $49.1 million market cap and $13.7 million of volume. Akedo (AKE) continued its slide, down 19.68% to $0.009304, with a weekly balance of −68.11% that points to structure rather than one bad session; $44.8 million of turnover against a $212.1 million cap says the exit is still in progress.

Bitway (BTW) is the special case: −11.07% to $1.07, a $1.61 billion capitalisation and just $5.1 million of turnover. The ratio is thin enough that a single large order can move the price — a caravan with a bicycle engine. Plasma (−10.37%), Cap (−10.34%) and THORChain (−9.1%) joined the queue, and MemeCore lost exactly 10.00%.

Gold ate the Sunday liquidity

The most interesting number of the day is not crypto at all. Tether Gold (XAUT) trades at $3,871.31 an ounce on a market cap of just $3.13 billion — but with $35.37 billion of turnover in 24 hours. That is more than eleven times its own capitalisation and nearly eight times Ethereum’s $4.54 billion. Gold is the 33rd asset by size and simultaneously the second most traded behind Bitcoin. PAX Gold sits at $3,896.23, 30.7% below its $5,619 peak, which confirms bullion has corrected too — just not its appeal.

Large caps: Zcash holds the top ten, TRON under pressure

Zcash (ZEC) kept tenth place at $1,242.19 despite a 2.97% decline, with a $21.14 billion market cap and $467.7 million of turnover. Two years ago ZEC was fighting to stay inside the top 100; this is a comeback nobody scripted, and privacy is suddenly a tradeable commodity again. Hyperliquid (HYPE) stands at $87.85, +0.5% daily and +16.19% weekly, 10.3% below its ATH on a $21.03 billion cap. TRON slipped 3.16% to $0.3106 on $1.38 billion of turnover — the second heaviest among non-stable majors — while BNB gained 1.21% to $713.32.

What the numbers say about sentiment

Sunday is traditionally the day the market does its bookkeeping, and this ledger is short: $75.4 billion of turnover against $2.61 trillion of capitalisation means liquidity is retreating while the gap between winners and losers widens. When 22,671 active cryptocurrencies divide $75 billion of volume, most of them get less attention than a traffic light on a side street. In that environment a 20% gain and a 20% loss last equally long, and the only difference between an investor and a gambler is who has an exit plan.

The distribution is clear: capital is pooling in Bitcoin, stablecoins and a handful of narratives with visible catalysts — privacy, perpetual futures, tokenised gold — while the rest of the market rusts in silence. Rotation of this kind usually precedes either a deeper correction or a new cycle, and history is consistent on one point: Sunday never reveals which one.
