Bitcoin settled at $82,314 on Monday, up 0.40% over 24 hours, while the total crypto market capitalization stalled at $2.74 trillion. Bitcoin dominance held at 60.2% and ether at 10.8% — two numbers that say more than any commentary: capital is gathering in the safe harbor and feels no urgency about the altcoin wing.
The market’s report card looks like a classroom after a brutal exam. Of the 388 largest coins by market capitalization, 194 finished green and 177 finished red, with an average change of minus 0.24%. The median sits at essentially zero. The cap-weighted move across the sample is plus 0.28%, which means the heavyweights carried the index while the middle of the market ran on fumes. Combined 24-hour turnover across the sample reached $118.8 billion — respectable, but nowhere near euphoria.
Bitcoin: the heavyweight holding the ropes
The daily range ran from $80,672 to $83,035, an amplitude of just under three percent. Price has orbited $82,000 for three sessions now, like a boxing champion who has already won the belt and simply holds the ropes while the challenger burns energy. The weekly ledger reads minus 1.34%, which in ether terms counts as stability.
Bitcoin’s market capitalization stands at $1.654 trillion on $26.57 billion of 24-hour volume. Circulating supply is 20.1 million coins, the all-time high is $126,080 from last October, and the all-time low is $67.81. In other words, bitcoin trades 34.7% below its peak and more than 1,200 times above where it started. Anyone who bought pizza for 10,000 coins in 2010 could today trade that dinner for a restaurant chain — with its own brewery attached.
Ether loses one more step
Ether trades at $2,419.65, up 0.16% on the day but down 5.22% on the week. Market capitalization is $295.56 billion on $10.02 billion of volume, with an all-time high of $4,946.05. The ETH/BTC ratio has slipped to 0.0294, a level last seen in early 2021, before the legendary spring sprint. History does not repeat, but it does occasionally show up at the same address.
Solana printed $104.72 with a 0.81% gain, though the week still shows minus 6.1%. BNB holds $725.59, XRP $1.30, and Dogecoin $0.0791. None of it suggests capital flight — it suggests waiting. Like an audience in a cinema when the lights dim and the trailers are still rolling.
Winners: Bedrock, Amp and Quack AI
The strongest daily move belonged to Bedrock (BR), up 28.39% to $0.5211. Market capitalization is a modest $150 million on $24.3 million of turnover, with an all-time high of $1.35 and a low of $0.039. When a coin with that thin a book prints $24 million of volume, price behaves like a leaf in a gust — the question is not whether it flies, but where it lands.
Amp (AMP) climbed 23.07% to $0.00091 and is up 42.6% on the week. Capitalization is $82 million against $58.1 million of volume, with an all-time high of $0.1208 and a low of $0.000356. A volume-to-market-cap ratio near 70% is a statement that this is a trading vehicle, not a savings account. Quack AI (Q) added 15.98% to $0.1275, closing the week at plus 288.3%. Capitalization is $600 million on $54.3 million of volume, with an all-time high of $0.2111 and a low of $0.00527. A coin that was a punchline seven days ago is now a serious contender for story of the month.
Provenance Blockchain (HASH) gained 11.92%, Qubic (QUBIC) 11.69% despite a weekly loss of 17.9%, and Raydium (RAY) 7.44% to $1.93 — still 88.5% below its $16.83 all-time high. Arbitrum (ARB) rose 7.02% to $0.1954 with a $1.35 billion capitalization and $186.5 million of turnover, the largest among gainers. It is the kind of rally that looks impressive until the memory kicks in that ARB once traded at $2.39. Pepe (PEPE) added 5.01% and Pump.fun (PUMP) 4.0%, the latter after a week in which it shed 21.1%.
Losers: the crash after the applause
GRX Chain (GRX) fell 24.29% to $18.47. That reads like a stable price until the all-time high of $25.58 comes into view — the coin essentially fell off its own roof, and only from the second floor. Bitway (BTW) lost 16.48% to $2.03, one day after ranking among the market’s heroes. The weekly ledger is still plus 24.2%, capitalization $3.06 billion on $30.9 million of volume, all-time high $2.77. The guest who was loudest at the party and the first to call a cab.
ALEO slid 15.41% to $0.0466, yet the week still carries a 44.6% gain — textbook post-pump hygiene. Vaulta (A) dropped 13.23% to $0.0874 and Railgun (RAIL) 12.97% to $2.17 on a weekly loss of 28.7%. DUSK fell 7.67% to $0.1156, its second straight red session, even with a 27.5% weekly gain.
Pyth Network (PYTH) lost 7.08% to $0.0734 on a $580 million capitalization and $39.6 million of volume. Its all-time high is $1.20, which puts the current price 93.9% lower — an oracle that priced assets for everyone else and could not hold its own quote. MemeCore (M) dropped 6.66% to $0.7098 with a weekly loss of 22.3% and a $1.62 billion capitalization. Hedera (HBAR) shed 6.39% to $0.0830 but printed $153.4 million of volume, the highest among losers, on a $3.65 billion capitalization, an all-time high of $0.5692 and a low of $0.00986. Celestia (TIA) weakened 6.28% to $0.6091, though the week closed at plus 1.4%.
Privacy as the quiet contrarian bet
Zcash (ZEC) trades at $1,138.23, up 0.86%, and Monero (XMR) at $591.62, up 1.37% with an 11.0% weekly gain. Two old schools of privacy, two different designs, one shared argument: if everything is visible, nobody is free. While the rest of the market counts decimals, these two play a chess match in the corner of the room and never look up.
Hype (HYPE) trades at $79.05, effectively unchanged, on a $17.59 billion capitalization and $606 million of volume. Chainlink (LINK) holds $12.03, Cardano (ADA) $0.2182, Avalanche (AVAX) $9.64. All calm, no drama, like a bus stop on a Sunday evening.
What the numbers say
Bitcoin dominance at 60.2% and a $2.74 trillion total capitalization describe a market that has given up on quick answers. A 0.28% cap-weighted gain with a median of zero means money is concentrating in a handful of names while the rest stands still. Turnover of $118.8 billion is neither famine nor feast — it is a sandwich at the desk.
The level that matters remains $80,672, today’s low. Until it breaks, bitcoin stays in a box between $80,000 and $83,000 and altcoins have no reason to celebrate. If it breaks, the map changes faster than a manager can gather the squad in the dressing room at halftime.
