STONK, Anonymous Cat and Lil’ Shrub explode as meme season rages — Raydium rides Solana higher

STONK surged 270.8% in 24 hours, proving that a stock-market parody can outrun the stock market itself — at least while meme season lasts. The token, named after the internet’s favorite “stonks” template, jumped from $0.042 to a daily high of $0.212, with nearly $139 million in volume and a market capitalization of $137.7 million.

STONK, however, was not the only star of this blockbuster. Anonymous Cat (ZCAT) outran everyone with a 323.4% rally, while Lil’ Shrub (SHRUB) joined the podium with a 293.2% gain. Even Hajimi, a token whose Chinese name translates to “kitten,” climbed almost 247%. The scene could have been written for an animated movie in which cats, bushes and stock tickers share the same screen — and the same momentum.

Today’s twist lies in the contrast: while Anonymous Cat and Lil’ Shrub raced toward the top, a handful of cat-themed tokens on the other side of the board were losing their ninth lives at the same time. Crypto once again proved capable of shooting a comedy and a tragedy simultaneously, with liquidity flowing from one meme narrative to another at the speed of a remote-control channel flip.

While the meme corner played the lead role, more serious names did not stand still. Raydium, the leading decentralized exchange on Solana, climbed 40.0% and became the day’s most liquid gainer with $313.5 million in 24-hour trading. Jupiter, Solana’s liquidity aggregator, followed the rally with a 25.6% advance to $0.276. Solana itself rose 3.1%, providing the stage for a DeFi comeback after weeks of pure meme dominance.

The most intriguing story of the day, however, comes from the privacy sector. Zcash jumped 19.7% to $1,228 on a massive $1.9 billion in 24-hour volume — the largest turnover among all rising altcoins on today’s list. A token that spent years in the shadow of bigger names suddenly found itself in the spotlight, and its daily range from $1,023 to $1,249 speaks of a fierce tug-of-war between bulls and bears on the way up.

The broader market backdrop remained calm, almost indifferent to the chaos in the meme sector. Bitcoin hovered at $80,342, up 0.7%, Ethereum added 1.4% to $2,513, while BNB was the only major name in the red, down 1.9%. This division of roles — quiet giants and noisy dwarfs — is a classic pattern of risk-on phases in which capital bets on extremes rather than averages.

What made today’s rally unusual is that it did not arrive from a single event but from several parallel narratives: the return of cat memes, the revival of Solana DeFi and a sudden burst of interest in privacy coins. Three different audiences, one common denominator — the hunt for returns while the bulk of the market idles. The open question is how long this rotation will last and whether liquidity will eventually return to Bitcoin, as usually happens after meme eruptions.
