Helium exploded nearly 100 percent in the past 24 hours to claim the crown of daily winner, while Seeker added a triple-digit gain – as heavyweights like Bitcoin and Ethereum cool off, DePIN and AI narratives are once again setting the charts on fire.
Helium rises from the ashes
HNT was once the star of the 2021 bull market, then spent years collecting dust at the bottom of the rankings. That slumber ended abruptly overnight: the price surged 99.79 percent, while the 24-hour volume of $254 million exceeded the project’s entire market capitalization of $156 million – a clear sign of a speculative charge rather than quiet accumulation. A comeback from the ashes always tastes sweetest, but in crypto it usually lasts about as long as a song at the top of the charts. The DePIN narrative around decentralized wireless networks remains alive, and the market clearly decided Helium was too cheap to stay forgotten.
Seeker races toward the top
The biggest gainer among more serious market caps is Seeker (SKR), up 108.84 percent. The token moved from $0.023 to a daily volume of nearly $200 million, making it one of the busiest small-caps on the market. When a token with a $162 million market cap turns over more than its entire valuation in 24 hours, it is not fundamentals driving the bus – it is momentum, and momentum in crypto can be merciless in both directions.
Small, fast and mischievous
The winners list is dominated by small-cap tokens with big imaginations. Tectonic (TONIC) gained 85 percent, even though its price of $0.0000000266 looks like a number that needs a microscope – DeFi lending on Cronos clearly still has an audience. Boundless (ZKC) added 43.7 percent on $196 million of volume, and UnifAI Network (UAI) rose 35 percent on the AI agent wave that keeps stealing traders’ attention.
Old acquaintances back in form
Pons gained 31 percent and, with a market cap of $230 million, climbed into the top 160 projects, while Bounce (AUCTION) – an old friend from the NFT auction-house era – added 20.5 percent on $92 million of daily volume. Interestingly, these projects have survived several cycles, which suggests the market is not buying them by accident.
Rotation instead of panic
The broader picture shows classic rotation: Bitcoin sits at $77,700 (-0.6 percent), Ethereum at $2,420 (-1.5 percent), and Solana dropped 3.5 percent to $101.8. The big caps are in the red while capital flows into small-cap alts – the same pattern that repeats every time the majors stall. The only question is how long this firework display will last before traders retreat to the safe harbor of large caps.
