Akedo suffered a bloodbath: down 28.2 percent in 24 hours to $0.008. The token that set an ATH of $0.015 in mid-August has now been cut in half, and the $48.5 million daily volume proves the selling happened in panic, not in silence.
Fabric Protocol (ROBO) follows at minus 10 percent, while DeXe loses 9.1 percent on volume of $87 million — three times more than one would expect for such a modest decline. Traders are mass-exiting positions, and liquidity is moving toward the day’s winners.
Core (-8.7 percent), ZIGChain (-8.5 percent) and MarsCoin (-8.0 percent) form the middle tier of losers, while Osmosis (-7.6 percent) continues its multi-year slide: a token worth $11.25 in 2022 now trades at $0.033. The road from peak to trough has rarely been this picturesque.
The biggest name on the list is Stacks (STX) at minus 6.6 percent, now at $0.24. The Bitcoin layer-2, worth $3.86 in April 2024, has lost more than 90 percent of its value and keeps sinking despite occasional short-lived bounces. The smart-contracts-on-Bitcoin story is failing to hold capital.
Trump (TRUMP) is down 4.9 percent at $2.65, but with an astonishing $645 million in volume it remains the most traded token of the day in absolute terms. A decline of under five percent with that much trading activity is not a flight — it is a reshuffling of positions in anticipation of the next move.
Tutorial (TUT), RIF and Turbo complete the list with declines between 5 and 7 percent, all with volume exceeding their market cap by a ratio greater than one. When that happens on the sell side, the market sends a clear message: short-term money has no patience for waiting.
If the winners are a circus on wheels, the losers are a horror movie in which every token in turn tries to escape its own shadow. Akedo is the star — or the main victim — of the evening, with the biggest drop in the entire top-500 segment by market capitalization. The question is whether buyers will appear at current levels or the bleeding will continue toward the bottom.
The common denominator of all losers: none has protection against its own volatility, and most are already deep below historical highs. In a market where money moves at the speed of a block, bad news today becomes history tomorrow — but only for those who managed to get out in time.
