Daily volume of just $17.7 million is modest for a project of this size, suggesting the selling isn’t panic-driven but rather coordinated distribution. Down over 75% from its ATH of $4.82, MemeCore’s slide looks increasingly structural.
LAB, the token that exploded onto the scene in late May and peaked at $27.30 in June, dropped 8.6% to $15.29. Despite the daily loss, LAB still commands a $4.78 billion market cap. Volume of $75 million points to continued activity, but the retreat from $27 raises the question: was the pump a one-time event? With an ATL of $0.074, LAB remains astronomically above its floor — the question is where fair value actually sits.
Bonk (BONK), Solana’s leading memecoin, fell 10% to $0.0000044, with a market cap of $387 million. Trading volume hit $111.8 million, mostly directed toward exits. BONK is now 92% below its ATH of $0.000058, and today’s loss continues a months-long downtrend.
Cap (CAP) dropped 8.3% to $0.021, with a $33 million market cap. The token, which hit its ATH of $0.043 in late June, has now lost 50% of its value in just two weeks.
Taiko (TAIKO) lost 11.8% to $0.087. The Ethereum layer-2 solution, despite solid technology, can’t seem to attract buyers. With an $18 million market cap and just $9.5 million in volume, Taiko stands out as one of the few L2 projects falling on a green day for most altcoins.
Hedera (HBAR) dropped 3.8% to $0.073. While the percentage is modest, HBAR’s $3.2 billion market cap makes it a notable decliner, especially on a day when Bitcoin is up. Cardano (ADA) also slipped 2.8%, with XRP down 1%.
Overall, 263 of the top 500 liquid cryptocurrencies are in negative territory, with an average market change of +0.94%. Bitcoin at $64,008 provides a solid floor, but for these tokens, the road to recovery looks long.
